JEWISH APPLE CAKE

2 & 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup orange juice (may need a litte more)
1 Lg can sliced apples
couple teaspoons of cinnamon & sugar mixture

Preheat oven to 350. In a large mixing bow, place the baking powder, flour, salt, sugar, oil, eggs, vanilla, and orange juice; mix until nice and smooth. Pour half the batter into a greased and floured bunt pan. Place the apples evenly over top of this first layer of batter and spread the couple teaspoons of cinnamon sugar mixture. Pour the remaining batter on top of the apples and bake for 1 & 1/2 hours.
